U Cavagnetu
Description
A stone's throw from the Prince's Palace, U Cavagnetu (whose name means "picnic basket" in Monegasque!) has been an institution since 1967.
A longevity that can be explained in several ways. First by the cuisine which will delight lovers of tradition and good "Monegasque" dishes (octopus, ravioli with stew, small stuffed vegetables, zucchini fritters... To name a few, always win the same success.) Then because it is a family story for three generations where the succession of Ondine and Jacky is assured with their descendants.
This is a lovely little neighborhood restaurant. A friendly address, perfect for a lunch break between two visits or a dinner in the calm of the small streets of the rock.
